And he put garrisons in Edom; throughout all Edom put he garrisons, and all the Edomites became servants to David. And Jehovah gave victory to David whithersoever he went.

And he put armed forces in Edom; all through Edom he had armed forces stationed, and all the Edomites became servants to David. And the Lord made David overcome wherever he went.

Και εβαλε φρουρας εν τη Ιδουμαια· καθ' ολην την Ιδουμαιαν εβαλε φρουρας· και παντες οι Ιδουμαιοι εγειναν δουλοι του Δαβιδ. Και εσωζεν ο Κυριος τον Δαβιδ πανταχου οπου επορευετο.
