And when the angel stretched out his hand toward Jerusalem to destroy it, Jehovah repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough; now stay thy hand. And the angel of Jehovah was by the threshing-floor of Araunah the Jebusite.

And when the hand of the angel was stretched out in the direction of Jerusalem, for its destruction, the Lord had regret for the evil, and said to the angel who was sending destruction on the people, It is enough; do no more. And the angel of the Lord was by the grain-floor of Araunah the Jebusite.

Και οτε ο αγγελος εξετεινε την χειρα αυτου κατα της Ιερουσαλημ, δια να απολεση αυτην, μετεμεληθη ο Κυριος περι του κακου, και ειπε προς τον αγγελον, οστις εκαμεν εν τω λαω την φθοραν, Αρκει ηδη· συρε την χειρα σου. Ητο δε ο αγγελος του Κυριου πλησιον του αλωνιου του Ορνα του Ιεβουσαιου.
