And one of his servants answered and said, Let some take, I pray thee, five of the horses that remain, which are left in the city (behold, they are as all the multitude of Israel that are left in it; behold, they are as all the multitude of Israel that are consumed); and let us send and see.

And one of his servants said in answer, Send men and let them take five of the horses which we still have in the town; if they keep their lives they will be the same as those of Israel who are still living here; if they come to their death they will be the same as all those of Israel who have gone to destruction: let us send and see.

Αποκριθεις δε εις εκ των δουλων αυτου ειπεν, Ας λαβωσι, παρακαλω, πεντε εκ των υπολειπομενων ιππων, οιτινες απεμειναν εν τη πολει, ιδου, αυτοι ειναι καθως ειπαν το πληθος του Ισραηλ το εναπολειφθεν εν αυτη· ιδου, ειναι καθως απαν το πληθος των Ισραηλιτων οιτινες κατηναλωθησαν· και ας αποστειλωμεν δια να ιδωμεν.
