So they feared Jehovah, and made unto them from among themselves priests of the high places, who sacrificed for them in the houses of the high places.

So they went on worshipping the Lord, and made for themselves, from among all the people, priests for the high places, to make offerings for them in the houses of the high places.

Ουτως εφοβουντο τον Κυριον· εκαμον δε εις εαυτους εκ των εσχατων μεταξυ αυτων ιερεις των υψηλων τοπων, οιτινες εθυσιαζον υπερ αυτων εν τοις οικοις των υψηλων τοπων.

So they feared the Lord, and made unto themselves of the lowest of them priests of the high places, which sacrificed for them in the houses of the high places.
