And they went in to offer sacrifices and burnt-offerings. Now Jehu had appointed him fourscore men without, and said, If any of the men whom I bring into your hands escape, he that letteth him go, his life shall be for the life of him.

Then they went in to make offerings and burned offerings. Now Jehu had put eighty men outside, and said to them, If any man whom I give into your hands gets away, the life of him who lets him go will be the price of his life.

Και οτε εισηλθον δια να προσφερωσι θυσιας και ολοκαυτωματα, ο Ιηου διεταξεν εξω ογδοηκοντα ανδρας και ειπεν, Οστις αφηση να διασωθη τις εκ των ανθρωπων, τους οποιους εγω εφερα εις τας χειρας σας, η ζωη αυτου θελει εισθαι αντι της ζωης εκεινου.
