This day will Jehovah deliver thee into my hand; and I will smite thee, and take thy head from off thee; and I will give the dead bodies of the host of the Philistines this day unto the birds of the heavens, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel,

This day the Lord will give you up into my hands, and I will overcome you, and take your head off you; and I will give the bodies of the Philistine army to the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth today, so that all the earth may see that Israel has a God;

την ημεραν ταυτην θελει σε παραδωσει ο Κυριος εις την χειρα μου· και θελω σε παταξει και αφαιρεσει απο σου την κεφαλην σου· και θελω παραδωσει τα πτωματα του στρατοπεδου των Φιλισταιων την ημεραν ταυτην εις τα πετεινα του ουρανου, και εις τα θηρια της γης· δια να γνωριση πασα η γη οτι ειναι Θεος εις τον Ισραηλ·
