And Jehovah said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and my heart shall be there perpetually.

And the Lord said to him, Your prayers and your requests for grace have come to my ears: I have made holy this house which you have made, and I have put my name there for ever; my eyes and my heart will be there at all times.

Και ειπεν ο Κυριος προς αυτον, Ηκουσα της προσευχης σου και της δεησεως σου, την οποιαν εδεηθης ενωπιον μου. Ηγιασα τον οικον τουτον, τον οποιον ωκοδομησας, δια να θεσω εκει το ονομα μου εις τον αιωνα· και θελουσιν εισθαι οι οφθαλμοι μου και η καρδια μου εκει δια παντος.
