And he set the cherubim within the inner house; and the wings of the cherubim were stretched forth, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house.

These were placed inside the inner house, their outstretched wings touching the walls of the house, one touching one wall and one the other, while their other wings were touching in the middle.

Και εθεσε τα χερουβειμ εν μεσω του ενδοτατου οικου· και ειχον τα χερουβειμ τας πτερυγας αυτων εξηπλωμενας, ωστε η πτερυξ του ενος ηγγιζε τον ενα τοιχον· και η πτερυξ του αλλου χερουβ ηγγιζε τον αλλον τοιχον· και αι πτερυγες αυτων ηγγιζον, η μια την αλλην, εν τω μεσω του οικου.
