And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard thereof, he said, It is the man of God, who was disobedient unto the mouth of Jehovah: therefore Jehovah hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of Jehovah, which he spake unto him.

Then the prophet who had made him come back, hearing it, said, It is the man of God, who went against the word of the Lord; that is why the Lord has given him to the lion to be wounded to death, as the Lord said.

Και οτε ηκουσεν ο προφητης ο επιστρεψας αυτον εκ της οδου, ειπεν, Ουτος ειναι ο ανθρωπος του Θεου, οστις παρηκουσε της φωνης του Κυριου· δια τουτο παρεδωκεν αυτον ο Κυριος εις τον λεοντα, και διεσπαραξεν αυτον και εθανατωσεν αυτον, κατα τον λογον του Κυριου, τον οποιον ελαλησε προς αυτον.
