And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces; for thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee

And he said to Jeroboam, Take ten of the parts, for this is what the Lord has said: See, I will take the kingdom away from Solomon by force, and will give ten tribes to you;

και ειπε προς τον Ιεροβοαμ, Λαβε εις σεαυτον δεκα τμηματα· διοτι ουτω λεγει Κυριος ο Θεος του Ισραηλ· Ιδου, θελω διαρρηξει την βασιλειαν εκ της χειρος του Σολομωντος και δωσει τας δεκα φυλας εις σε·
