So he left there, before the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day’s work required;

So he made Asaph and his brothers keep their places there before the ark of the agreement of the Lord, to do whatever had to be done before the ark at all times day by day:

Τοτε αφηκεν εκει εμπροσθεν της κιβωτου της διαθηκης του Κυριου τον Ασαφ και τους αδελφους αυτου, δια να λειτουργωσιν εμπροσθεν της κιβωτου παντοτε, κατα το απαιτουμενον εκαστης ημερας·
