Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against Jehovah in the matter of Peor, and so the plague was among the congregation of Jehovah.

It was these who, moved by Balaam, were the cause of Israel's sin against the Lord in the question of Peor, because of which disease came on the people of the Lord.

ιδου, αυται εγειναν αιτια εις τους υιους Ισραηλ, κατα την συμβουλην του Βαλααμ, να ανομησωσιν εναντιον του Κυριου εις την υποθεσιν του Φεγωρ, και εγεινεν η πληγη επι της συναγωγης του Κυριου·
