And I perceived that the portions of the Levites had not been given them; so that the Levites and the singers, that did the work, were fled every one to his field.

And I saw that the Levites had not been given what was needed for their support; so that the Levites and the music-makers, who did the work, had gone away, everyone to his field.

Και εμαθον οτι τα μεριδια των Λευιτων δεν εδοθησαν εις αυτους· διοτι οι Λευιται και οι ψαλτωδοι, οι ποιουντες το εργον, εφυγον εκαστος εις τον αγρον αυτου.
