But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou art the Christ, the Son of God.

But Jesus said not a word. And the high priest said to him, I put you on oath, by the living God, that you will say to us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.

Ο δε Ιησους εσιωπα. Και αποκριθεις ο αρχιερευς ειπε προς αυτον· Σε ορκιζω εις τον Θεον τον ζωντα να ειπης προς ημας αν συ ησαι ο Χριστος ο Υιος του Θεου.
