Then Jephthah gathered together all the men of Gilead, and fought with Ephraim; and the men of Gilead smote Ephraim, because they said, Ye are fugitives of Ephraim, ye Gileadites, in the midst of Ephraim, and in the midst of Manasseh.

Then Jephthah got together all the men of Gilead and made war on Ephraim; and the men of Gilead overcame Ephraim.

Τοτε συνηθροισεν ο Ιεφθαε παντας τους ανδρας της Γαλααδ και επολεμησε τον Εφραιμ· και επαταξαν οι ανδρες της Γαλααδ τους Εφραιμιτας, διοτι ειπαν, Φυγαδες του Εφραιμ εισθε σεις οι Γαλααδιται, μεταξυ του Εφραιμ και μεταξυ του Μανασση.
