For that day is a day of the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour and be satiate, and shall drink its fill of their blood; for the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.

But that day is the day of the Lord, the Lord of armies, a day of punishment when he will take payment from his haters: and the sword will have all its desire, drinking their blood in full measure: for there is an offering to the Lord, the Lord of armies, in the north country by the river Euphrates.

Διοτι αυτη η ημερα ειναι εις Κυριον τον Θεον των δυναμεων, ημερα εκδικησεως, δια να εκδικηθη τους εχθρους αυτου· και η μαχαιρα θελει καταφαγει αυτους και θελει χορτασθη και μεθυσθη απο του αιματος αυτων· διοτι Κυριος ο Θεος των δυναμεων εχει θυσιαν εν τη γη του βορρα, παρα τον ποταμον Ευφρατην.
