Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, wherewith ye fight against the king of Babylon, and against the Chaldeans that besiege you, without the walls; and I will gather them into the midst of this city.

The Lord God of Israel has said, See, I am turning back the instruments of war in your hands, with which you are fighting against the king of Babylon and the Chaldaeans, who are outside the walls and shutting you in; and I will get them together inside this town.

Ουτω λεγει Κυριος, ο Θεος του Ισραηλ· Ιδου, εγω στρεφω εις τα οπισω τα οπλα του πολεμου τα εν ταις χερσιν υμων, με τα οποια σεις πολεμειτε κατα του βασιλεως της Βαβυλωνος και των Χαλδαιων, οιτινες σας πολιορκουσιν εξωθεν των τειχων· και θελω συναξει αυτους εις το μεσον της πολεως ταυτης.

Thus saith the Lord God of Israel; Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, wherewith ye fight against the king of Babylon, and against the Chaldeans, which besiege you without the walls, and I will assemble them into the midst of this city.

‘Yahweh, the God of Israel says, “Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, with which you fight against the king of Babylon, and against the Chaldeans who besiege you outside the walls; and I will gather them into the middle of this city.
