It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever; from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.

It will not be put out day or night; its smoke will go up for ever: it will be waste from generation to generation; no one will go through it for ever.

νυκτα και ημεραν δεν θελει σβεσθη· ο καπνος αυτης θελει αναβαινει ακαταπαυστως· απο γενεας εις γενεαν θελει μενει ηρημωμενη· και δεν θελει υπαρχει ο διαβαινων δι' αυτης εις αιωνα αιωνος.
