and ye numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and ye brake down the houses to fortify the wall;

And you had the houses of Jerusalem numbered, pulling down the houses to make the wall stronger.

Και απηριθμησατε τας οικιας της Ιερουσαλημ, και δια να οχυρωσητε το τειχος εχαλασατε τας οικιας.

And ye have numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses have ye broken down to fortify the wall.
