Wherefore it shall come to pass, that, when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.

For this cause it will be that, when the purpose of the Lord against Mount Zion and Jerusalem is complete, I will send punishment on the pride of the heart of the king of Assyria, and on the glory of his uplifted eyes.

Δια τουτο, αφου ο Κυριος εκτελεση απαν το εργον αυτου επι το ορος Σιων και επι την Ιερουσαλημ, θελω παιδευσει, λεγει, τον καρπον της επηρμενης καρδιας του βασιλεως της Ασσυριας και την αλαζονειαν των υψηλων οφθαλμων αυτου.
