therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Jehovah: Thus saith the Lord Jehovah to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are forsaken, which are become a prey and derision to the residue of the nations that are round about;

For this reason, you mountains of Israel, give ear to the word of the Lord; this is what the Lord has said to the mountains and to the hills, to the streams and to the valleys, to the unpeopled wastes and to the towns where no one is living, from which the goods have been taken and which have been put to shame by the rest of the nations who are round about:

δια τουτο, ορη του Ισραηλ, ακουσατε τον λογον Κυριου του Θεου· Ουτω λεγει Κυριος ο Θεος προς τα ορη και προς τα βουνα, προς τους χειμαρρους και προς τας φαραγγας και προς τους ηρημωμενους και ηφανισμενους τοπους και προς τας εγκαταλελειμμενας πολεις, αιτινες εγειναν λαφυρον και εμπαιγμος εις το υπολοιπον των περιξ εθνων·
