Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the fulfilment of every vision.

For this cause say to them, This is what the Lord has said: I have made this saying come to an end, and it will no longer be used as a common saying in Israel; but say to them, The days are near, and the effect of every vision.

Ειπε δια τουτο προς αυτους, Ουτω λεγει Κυριος ο Θεος· Θελω καμει την παροιμιαν ταυτην να παυση, και πλεον δεν θελουσι παροιμιαζεσθαι αυτην εν τω Ισραηλ· αλλ' ειπε προς αυτους, Πλησιαζουσιν αι ημεραι και η εκπληρωσις πασης ορασεως·
