And it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are come upon them, that this song shall testify before them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know their imagination which they frame this day, before I have brought them into the land which I sware.

Then when evils and troubles without number have overtaken them, this song will be a witness to them, for the words of it will be clear in the memories of their children: for I see the thoughts which are moving in their hearts even now, before I have taken them into the land of my oath.

Και αφου ευρωσιν αυτους πολλα κακα και θλιψεις, η ωδη αυτη θελει μαρτυρησει εναντιον αυτων ως μαρτυς· διοτι δεν θελει λησμονηθη απο του στοματος του σπερματος αυτων· επειδη εγω γνωριζω την πονηριαν αυτων, την οποιαν εργαζονται ετι την σημερον, πριν εισαγαγω αυτους εις την γην την οποιαν ωμοσα.
