And it was told king David, saying, Jehovah hath blessed the house of Obed-edom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. And David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-edom into the city of David with joy.

And they said to King David, The blessing of the Lord is on the family of Obed-edom and on all he has, because of the ark of God. And David went and took the ark of God from the house of Obed-edom into the town of David with joy.

Και απηγγειλαν προς τον βασιλεα Δαβιδ, λεγοντες, Ο Κυριος ευλογησε τον οικον του Ωβηδ-εδωμ και παντα τα υπαρχοντα αυτου ενεκα της κιβωτου του Θεου. Τοτε υπηγεν ο Δαβιδ και ανεβιβασε την κιβωτον του Θεου εκ του οικου του Ωβηδ-εδωμ εις την πολιν Δαβιδ εν ευφροσυνη.

And it was told king David, saying, The Lord hath blessed the house of Obed–edom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed–edom into the city of David with gladness.
