Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore is my wrath poured out upon this place, and it shall not be quenched.

Because they have given me up, burning offerings to other gods and moving me to wrath by all the works of their hands; so my wrath is let loose on this place and will not be put out.

επειδη με εγκατελιπον και εθυμιασαν εις αλλους θεους, δια να με παροργισωσι δια παντα τα εργα των χειρων αυτων· δια τουτο θελει εκχυθη ο θυμος μου επι τον τοπον τουτον και δεν θελει σβεσθη.
