And it came to pass at the end of the year, that the army of the Syrians came up against him: and they came to Judah and Jerusalem, and destroyed all the princes of the people from among the people, and sent all the spoil of them unto the king of Damascus.

Now in the spring, the army of the Aramaeans came up against him; they came against Judah and Jerusalem, putting to death all the great men of the people and sending all the goods they took from them to the king of Damascus.

Και εν τω τελει του ετους ανεβη το στρατευμα της Συριας εναντιον αυτου· και ηλθον επι τον Ιουδαν και επι την Ιερουσαλημ, και εξωλοθρευσαν παντας τους αρχοντας του λαου εκ μεσου του λαου, και εστειλαν παντα τα λαφυρα αυτων προς τον βασιλεα της Δαμασκου.
