And they forsook the house of Jehovah, the God of their fathers, and served the Asherim and the idols: and wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem for this their guiltiness.

And they gave up the house of the Lord God of their fathers, and became worshippers of pillars of wood and of the images; and because of this sin of theirs, wrath came on Judah and Jerusalem.

και εγκατελιπον τον οικον Κυριου του Θεου των πατερων αυτων, και ελατρευον τα αλση και τα ειδωλα· και ηλθεν οργη κατα του Ιουδα και της Ιερουσαλημ, δια ταυτην την ανομιαν αυτων.

And they left the house of the Lord God of their fathers, and served groves and idols: and wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem for this their trespass.
