And the king and Jehoiada gave it to such as did the work of the service of the house of Jehovah; and they hired masons and carpenters to restore the house of Jehovah, and also such as wrought iron and brass to repair the house of Jehovah.

Then the king and Jehoiada gave it to those who were responsible for getting the work done on the Lord's house, and with it they got wall-builders and woodworkers and metal-workers to put the house of the Lord in good order again.

Και εδιδεν αυτο ο βασιλευς και ο Ιωδαε εις τους ποιουντας το εργον της υπηρεσιας του οικου του Κυριου, και εμισθονον κτιστας και ξυλουργους δια να ανακαινισωσι τον οικον του Κυριου· και σιδηρουργους ετι και χαλκουργους, δια να επισκευασωσι τον οικον του Κυριου.
