Και οι ανδρες Ισραηλ, οι περαν της κοιλαδος, και οι περαν του Ιορδανου, ιδοντες οτι εφυγον οι ανδρες Ισραηλ και οτι ο Σαουλ και οι υιοι αυτου απεθανον, κατελιπον τας πολεις και εφυγον. και ελθοντες οι Φιλισταιοι κατωκησαν εν αυταις.
