And David inquired of Jehovah, saying, If I pursue after this troop, shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue; for thou shalt surely overtake them, and shalt without fail recover all.

Then David, questioning the Lord, said, Am I to go after this band? will I be able to overtake them? And in answer he said, Go after them, for you will certainly overtake them, and get back everything.

Και ηρωτησεν ο Δαβιδ τον Κυριον, λεγων, Να καταδιωξω οπισθεν τουτων των ληστων; θελω προφθασει αυτους; Ο δε ειπε προς αυτον, Καταδιωξον· διοτι θελεις βεβαιως προφθασει και αφευκτως θελεις ελευθερωσει παντα.

And David enquired at the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.
