Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If it be Jehovah that hath stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if it be the children of men, cursed be they before Jehovah; for they have driven me out this day that I should not cleave unto the inheritance of Jehovah, saying, Go, serve other gods.

Let my lord the king give ear now to the words of his servant. If it is the Lord who is moving you against me, let him take an offering: but if it is the children of men, may they be cursed before the Lord, for driving me out today and keeping me from my place in the heritage of the Lord, saying, Go, be the servant of other gods.

τωρα λοιπον ας ακουση, παρακαλω, ο κυριος μου ο βασιλευς τους λογους του δουλου αυτου· εαν ο Κυριος σε διηγειρεν εναντιον μου, ας δεχθη θυσιαν· αλλ' εαν υιοι ανθρωπων, ουτοι ας ηναι επικαταρατοι ενωπιον του Κυριου· διοτι με εξεβαλον την σημερον απο του να κατοικω εν τη κληρονομια του Κυριου, λεγοντες, Υπαγε, λατρευε αλλους Θεους·
