Moreover, my father, see, yea, see the skirt of thy robe in my hand; for in that I cut off the skirt of thy robe, and killed thee not, know thou and see that there is neither evil nor transgression in my hand, and I have not sinned against thee, though thou huntest after my life to take it.

And see, my father, see the skirt of your robe in my hand: for the fact that I took off the skirt of your robe and did not put you to death is witness that I have no evil purpose, and I have done you no wrong, though you are waiting for my life to take it.

24-12 24-12 Ιδε προσετι, πατερ μου, ιδε μαλιστα το κρασπεδον του επενδυματος σου εν τη χειρι μου· επειδη, εκ του οτι απεκοψα το κρασπεδον του επενδυματος σου και δεν σε εθανατωσα, γνωρισον και ιδε οτι δεν ειναι κακια ουδε παραβασις εν τη χειρι μου και δεν ημαρτησα εναντιον σου· συ ομως θηρευεις την ζωην μου δια να αφαιρεσης αυτην.
