Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a javelin: but I come to thee in the name of Jehovah of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

Then David said to the Philistine, You come to me with a sword and a spear and a javelin: but I come to you in the name of the Lord of armies, the God of the armies of Israel on which you have put shame.

Και ειπεν ο Δαβιδ προς τον Φιλισταιον, Συ ερχεσαι εναντιον μου με ρομφαιαν και δορυ και ασπιδα· εγω δε ερχομαι εναντιον σου εν τω ονοματι του Κυριου των δυναμεων, του Θεου των στρατευματων του Ισραηλ, τα οποια συ εξουθενησας·
