and rent the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it thee; and yet thou hast not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do that only which was right in mine eyes,

And took the kingdom away by force from the seed of David and gave it to you, you have not been like my servant David, who kept my orders, and was true to me with all his heart, doing only what was right in my eyes.

και διαρρηξας την βασιλειαν απο του οικου του Δαβιδ, εδωκα αυτην εις σε, και συ δεν εσταθης καθως ο δουλος μου Δαβιδ, οστις εφυλαξε τας εντολας μου και οστις με ηκολουθησεν εξ ολης αυτου της καρδιας, εις το να καμνη μονον το ευθες ενωπιον μου,
