And David said to Solomon his son, As for me, it was in my heart to build a house unto the name of Jehovah my God.

And David said to Solomon, My son, it was my desire to put up a house for the name of the Lord my God.

Και ειπεν ο Δαβιδ προς τον Σολομωντα, Υιε μου, εγω μεν επεθυμησα εν τη καρδια μου να οικοδομησω οικον εις το ονομα Κυριου του Θεου μου·

And David said to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto the name of the Lord my God:
