Luqman · Meccan

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَشۡتَرِي لَهۡوَ ٱلۡحَدِيثِ لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٖ وَيَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُوًاۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مُّهِينٞ

Arabic (Uthmani Script)

And of the people is he who buys the amusement of speech to mislead [others] from the way of Allah without knowledge and who takes it in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment

English — Sahih International

Script Comparison

Compare Arabic readings — Uthmani, Warsh, Simple (Imla'i)

Note: Verse numbering varies between qira'at (reading traditions). In Warsh, the Basmalah is not counted as a verse — so verse numbers are offset by 1 from Hafs (Uthmani) in surahs where Basmalah is the first verse. Gold-underlined words differ from the Uthmani baseline. Enable Align by content to show the corresponding text regardless of verse number.
